Taking care of the privacy, i.e. the protection of our customers’ personal data, which we undertake as THE ART OF SALES DOOEL Skopje, is our priority in order to justify your trust.
In addition, please read our privacy policy, which fully and transparently outlines how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our online store, available at www.hart.mk, as well as our social media accounts and the emails we send you.
Any activity related to your personal data is carried out by THE ART OF SALES DOOEL Skopje under the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Types of data we collect
When you visit our website or otherwise contact us, we collect two types of data, personal and technical. We receive such data when you access hArt.mk, use it or purchase products on the website, open and reply to the email we have sent you, contact our customer support, connect with hArt.mk through social networks, visit websites that display our content or advertisements.
Personal data is data through which a specific user can be identified. For certain activities necessary for the operation of hArt.mk that require user identification, we may ask you to provide certain personal data, such as first and last name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth. When ordering products from hArt.mk, we do not have access to the details you enter at the time of payment, but they are sent via a secure connection to the certified payment card transaction processing center, i.e. to the specific bank.
Besides the core business of hArt.mk as an e-shop, we use your personal data to optimize its functioning, in terms of improving the user experience, facilitating the order, adjusting the content and product offering, streamlining marketing-promotional communication, performing administrative tasks.
Technical data is data that does not identify the user. This includes data such as the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the website you visited before and after accessing and using hArt.mk; then the pages you visit on hArt.mk and the duration of those visits; the terms you used to search our website; the browser and plugins you use, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the type of device you access.
This technical data is collected automatically during visits to hArt.mk by electronic identification tools, such as so-called cookies.
You have freedom of choice in relation to your data retention and use
Notwithstanding that we use data to improve your user experience, which is in our best interests, and we fully comply with the law, you can choose at any time to restrict which data you provide or to do not provide data at all. Of course, you can also limit the communication that hArt.mk has with you.
For messages from hArt.mk by e-mail
When you sign up to receive e-newsletters from hArt.mk, you can choose whether you want to receive promotional communications to your email address. If you have signed up for an informational-promotional emails, you can cancel it at will by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of every email you receive from us, i.e. by following the instructions for completing the opt-out. If you opt-out of receiving informational-promotional emails, please note that you will continue to receive non-promotional emails related solely to our obligation to provide you with information about any transactions or activities in your hArt.mk account.

Necessary cookies are, as the name suggests, cookies without which the website cannot function properly in its entirety. These are cookies that allow the main purpose of the website, such as navigation, use of the shopping cart, payment.
Preference cookies allow the website to remember choices you have made during previous visits, such as the language you prefer or the region you are in.
Statistical cookies help to understand how visitors use the website, providing information to improve its functionality. These cookies collect data anonymously and no visitor to the website can be identified by any of this data.
Marketing cookies are used to track visitor movement through websites, ensuring that advertisements are tailored, i.e. relevant to the individual user.

Conditions under which we may share data
hArt.mk warrants it will not share your personal data with others except in the following circumstances:
– the company that delivers the products ordered from hArt.mk will be provided with the data necessary to carry out the delivery;
– to a competent institution within the framework of legal proceedings.
We may share technical (non-personal) data with our affiliated advertisers and marketing companies.
How we collect data
We receive information from you when you create a user account on hArt.mk, order a product, or otherwise use the website, and when you open/respond to an email we have sent you. Another way we collect data is through cookies (listed above with an accompanying explanation).
Security
hArt.mk takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or misuse. To this end, we use the latest technological tools.
The data you enter when paying with your payment card (for order from hArt.mk) is neither transferred nor stored via our servers. Transactions are processed through the certified payment card transaction processing center of the bank we cooperate with – NLB Banka AD Skopje. hArt.mk does not have access to this data and the only information visible to us from your transaction is the first and last name contained on the card, its last 4 numbers, and the amount on which the transaction was made.
Changing your details
You can change the details you left us when creating your hArt.mk account by logging in and following the relevant steps. The exception to this is your email address, which if you wish to change, please send us a suitable request to privacysupport@hart.mk, which will include the new address in addition to the existing one.
Send a request to privacysupport@hart.mk if you wish to deactivate or delete your account. Deactivating your account does not mean that all previously stored data about you will be deleted – we keep data about previous purchases on the website because of possible disputes or for our sales analysis or periodic reporting.
Protection of personal data of minors
Using hArt.mk is designed and intended only for adults. Use of the website is prohibited for persons under the age of 18. If you use the website, you declare you are an adult. If we become aware of an account that is registered to a user under the age of 18, we will immediately remove the account.
Data expiry date
The data collected by hArt.mk is stored under the statutory mandatory retention periods for personal data. If a user requests that their data be deleted, it will be stored for 30 days from the day on which the user made the request.

You have the right to be informed about the processing of your personal data, the right to access your personal data, to request its rectification or erasure; to change, restrict and end the processing, as well as the right to object.
