Description
WILD: Savannah Sunset is a collection of writing instruments that evoke the thrilling romance of a moment that wildlife photographers call “the golden hour“ – the period before sunset during which daylight is softer and redder. Under the motto “What you love – you will protect”, which refers to efforts to preserve the world’s last wild habitats, Montegrappa collaborates with National Geographic photographers Helle Løvevild Golman and her husband Uri, who have earned a reputation not only for discovering extremely rare wildlife but also for successfully photographing it. To convey the message, Montegrappa makes this collection from an exclusive series of its artisanal Montegrappite resin, with a color blend that captures the African electrified evening mood when predators are hunting. The entire process of making this resin is handmade in the Montegrappa factory, which avoids the price that would be paid by the environment when using industrial resins. The fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint from the WILD: Savannah Sunset collection are limited editions of 999 pieces each.
