The iconic Piuma, the writing instrument made entirely of wood, with a dynamic shape that reminds the shape of a goose feather, inspired by Leonardo’s studies on flight; now dressed in Pininfarina’s new collection, ITALIAN BEAUTY, created in collaboration with the Francesco Corni Foundation. The extraordinary Modena-born designer Francesco Corni (1952-2020) dedicated his life to popularizing history and architecture, especially of famous Italian cities. The master of the drawing pen, after studying the most representative building in each of the cities, chooses the best vantage point to highlight its features, then draws it with meticulous strokes, paying attention to every detail. Pininfarina builds on Francesco Corni’s vision with a skillful selection of colors, one for each of the cities represented in the ITALIAN BEAUTY collection, turning the box of Piuma into a new work of art.
