Mimicking the silhouette of the majestic baobab tree, the writing instruments from the WILD: Baobab collection point to a tree that is an icon of the African continent and can store an incredible 120,000 liters of water. This survival instinct of the baobab fits perfectly as the motif of a collection with conservation at its core. Accordingly, Montegrappa uses a unique artisan resin for these writing instruments, entirely handmade in Montegrappa’s factory, with a significantly lower carbon footprint than industrial resins. The fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint from the WILD: Baobab collection, available in limited editions of 999 pieces each, result from Montegrappa’s collaboration with a Danish wildlife photographer couple, Uri and Helle Løvovild Golman, whose motto is “What you love – you will protect”.
